Hi,
Ohhhhhh. I'm so incredibly scared. I just feel as though I could cry and cry. I'm going to go to Germany in 3 weeks, and this means I will see my friends and family for less than a week in 5 months! I am very very close to my family, but since I came to uni I have become much more independent. I'll be spending 2 months in Berlin and then I may go and see my exchange partner near Stuttgart. I'm so so so excited but a bit anxious. I really hope it'll be worth it. I will be staying with a German family that speaks absolutely no English and I will be teaching their two children, Angelique and Jessica English. (They're 9 and 12.) I hope I will make some friends that are actually my age because I think just talking to kids all the time might drive me slightly mad. Everybody keeps telling me how unbelievably proud of me they are and friends say they wish they were brave enough to do it, and others are sooooo envious. HOWEVER, I can't help feeling really nervous. What if the kids don't like me? What if the family is horrible? What if I don't understand a word? I know spending so much time in a country that isn't my own will be tough. I will have no friends. Nobody will speak my language, but I am doing this because I think it's a fantastic opportunity. The CAPITAL CITY!! I have always, always, always wanted to go to Berlin. Such a fascinating city. All the history, culture, architecture and I will be practicing my German so much. It will also be brilliant practice for my year abroad, but I will probably go to Spain, but I would absolutely love to go to South America, especially Peru or Argentina. Does anybody have any good advice on how to entertain kids or any tips on teaching?

Well, long time no blog.
Sorry darlings. The cock has been otherwise engaged with boring stuff like work and evil essays about beetles! F@?£*^g beetles! No ladies and gentlemen, I am not studying to be some biologist or beetle analyst, I am doing a language degree...oh well...anyway, had a pretty chilled, good wknd. Not very productive but still good. I was supposed to be going to a funfair today but it didn't happen.Crikey I can't wait for all these freaking exams to be over cos I swear I am turning into the most boring twat. What the hell has happened to my personality?! I used to have a social life. That's one of things I can't understand. Before I came to uni I was always going out and having a laugh and I was under the impression it was going to be even better at uni. Well, after my exams have finished I will get back my life! I've got a scary beast of a Spanish exam on wednesday. :( Any random people out there and mi mates wish me luck! :) OK, OK enough blogging. Back to Spanish.

Well kids....im in a super dooper mood today! make the most of it. had a pretty normal day- done naff all, done a bit of rev 4 scary span test. eek! Just listenin 2 Josh Stone- she int bad! The chaps n chapesses at uni av been avin me teach em Yorkshearian! They r all a bit lame but they show potential n wi a bit a tuition from the kat they'll all b fabularse!! :) Anywayz im not right into this blog lark. Jan n Devi introduced me to it but don't go expectin me 2 do it everyday- novelty is gonna wear off soon. Got a crappy cold at the mo but still in a good mood. Can't understand why! Maybe it's cos I am surrounded by some seriously groovy people like the legends that are the 'Jan' and 'Princess Devi'! Can't think of owt else to say at the mo......oooohhhh I am (hopefully)goin 2 work as an au pair in Berlin in the summer!! Wohoooo!! N i'm comin home in 20 days!
